American Idol: And then there were 11

FederovThe show is off to a horrible start with Anthony Federov. Can this guy get any cheesier? Randy is only giving him props because he worked on the album. Simon as always nails it. This guy is just lame.

Carrie Underwood rocks Heart's “Alone” and...
really does break out of the country mold. However, I think (like Simon said) her money making ability is in the country world. She'll pass this week...easily.
Carrie Underwood

Scott SavolScott Savol started off rocky but ended “Against All Odds” really well. Phil Collins could never nail that song live so Scott should get some props. Simon stopped listening after the first half, which was bad, but the ending should get Scott through. He has a different sound.

Bo BiceBo Bice turns in a boring but acceptable tune. “Subdued” was the word from Randy. That's for sure. I totally fell asleep here for a minute. Bo is one of my favorites and he kind of bummed me out this week.

Too bad Nikko Smith picked such a bummer of a song that didn't help his so-so voice. Whatever happened to Sisqo anyway? Also where the heck is Ozzie? Does he coach or something these days? Randy and Paula will feel stupid when they listen to this on playback. WTF was Paula doing to Simon! He must have given Nikko a pass to get that reaction. Sorry I didn't get a screen capture.

Vonzell Solomon is good. She has gotten better each week since wearing the cowboy hat.

ConstantineDid Constantine actually make “I Think I Love You” sound cool? I think he did. The judges are all way off. That was one of his best performances as far as vocals go. The song was just really odd. I think he likes playing to the absurdity of the competition.

Nadia TurnerNadia looks good with the hair, she always looks good, but she didn't sound that great this week. She's one of my favorites in the competition but I'm not sure if it was strong enough to stick around another week.

MikalahMikalah really bombed this week with Taylor Dayne. While she sounds A LOT like Dayne I think it will be her downfall this week. She'll definitely be at the bottom of the barrel.

Anwar is not as good as he was earlier in the competition. Tonight he was weak. Just plain weak. He also lacks stage presence and charisma past that big smile. At least he's having a good time. I think his past performances will keep him safe though.

JessicaJessica Sierra did sound a lot better than last week but you know she's not going to win the competition.

Who should be voted off: Nikko Smith...I take it back they just played the recap...Anthony Federov, he's just horrible.

Who will be voted off: Mikalah Gordon

Performance of the night: Constantine. That was just oddly awesome.

Hair of the night: Toss up between Nadia and Carrie.

Quote of the night: "Now I have all these awful songs in my head," Dave's significant other.

anthony is so boring and awkward. bo bice: way to get the crowd excited with a rockin'...jim croce song. and mikalah...i just plain hate her; she seems like just a loudmouth. i don't think she pulled off that taylor dayne song at all.

Alright, so I'm totally voting off Anthony at this point, without even seeing the rest.
