Smallville: Blank

SmallvilleIt sounded like a lame premise. Clark gets his memory wiped out and thus allows Chloe to figure out the truth about our boy in blue...T-shirt. But to my surprise the episode was terrific. I was really shocked at how the show gave fans what they wanted, Chloe finding out about Clark's powers, then predictably finding a way out of it (another conveinent memory wipe) and finally the kicker of a closer with Chloe remembering enough to scare the crap out of Clark. What a ride. The memory wipes didn't find their way to Lex (for once) and Clark's slip about his drawings have his bald buddy's evil gears turning. I'm not quite sure where this leaves Clark and Lana in the dating realm, but it won't please the now-evil Jason that much I assure you.

I thought it was a great eppy too, Dave. Why couldn't the entire season be as good as the last three episodes?! My hope for the final three are very much intact as of now, and I'm hoping we won't be disappointed. Oh, the memory wipe, yes, that was just for what took place in the lab. Right on. Kevin actually referenced the extent of his powers to Clark, right? About how it usually only works on the most recent memories, like Lois in the Talon. And the goings-on in the lab. Oh Lex! I loved, loved, loved the last Act of the show. It was awesomely done, and Lex giving Clark that look, so cool and unphased at what happened - made my heart beat, beat, beat. And then Switchfoot's song kicked on, and oh, from Clark to Lex to Clark/Lana and then Clark/Chloe - it was so great. Go Smallville!! :)

The mind wipe on Chloe was only for that moment in the lab. She already knew about Clark's powers because Alicia told her. So she already knows about Clark's powers, but he doesn't know that she knows.

I was under the impression that Kevin, our FotW, only wiped the memories of Chloe, Lois, and the Sheriff in regards to what happened in the lab. Because otherwise how could Chloe had told Clark (who doesn't remember anything that happened while he had no memories) that Lex had wanted to talk to him in private.
