MSNBC to change name to NBC News Channel

The Drudge Report is reporting that MSNBC is finally going to change it's name. Both sides have been trying to get away from the Microsoft/MSNBC partnership that the name represents, and a source says that the new name is "cleaner, less confusing...represents the programming." The news is still "developing" so more details are sure to follow in the next several days. Personally, I welcome the change. I've always thought the MSNBC name was rather cumbersome, and something along the lines of NBC News Channel just sounds right.
