Some of 24 is a bit farfetched, but every episode has been exciting and well-done. Would we really want to watch the realities of these agents? Imagine how exciting it would be to watch them send Emails and file reports. :-) NBC would make it boring - they haven't done a good job with their edgier shows. 24 would become ER in no time (how is THAT show still on?) I can see it now, "This week, on a very special 24 that is unlike any other episode, yet very similar as well..." UGH!

Yes, NBC would screw it up, but as any diehard fan must realize, 24 has strayed so far from the "real time" clock, that's it's becoming a distraction. That dressed lawyer in CTU central with a signed court order in themiddle of the night. Yeah, right! Oh yeah, he also found a federal marshall It ruined the whole episode for me. Maybe that's why we haven't had a TV Squad posts re: the last 3 episodes? Hmm....shark jumpin? But I forgive them, it's still of the best shows on TV.

Well...I'd watch 24 wherever it went, but it always seemed so much like a Fox show. Edgy, innovative, and unlike anything else that was on at the time. Even using Limp Bizkit (...just one of those days when you don't wanna wake up...) in the first season promos--all so very opposite of what NBC has stood for. I fear that NBC wouldn't let them do the non-stop season thing, and generally not believe in the show when it doesn't get the ratings that L&O: Elevator Inspectors Unit does.

My thoughts exactly B. I've been saying this for a while. The thinking person's lineup. And Zack Braff was great on AD, now Jason Bateman should be on Scrubs. Then think of the crossover possibilities...

AD and Scrubs back to back? Two genius comedies w/o laughtracks.

While they're at it, could they pick up Arrested Development too? Since Fox insists on renewing garbage like Simple(minded) Life and is most likely killing off AD, maybe NBC could profit from it. Hey. NBC may not be great, but they did give Seinfeld time to flourish, and look what happened there.
