Just LegalThe New Shows:

Just Legal is the story of the Olsen Twins. Oh, just kidding! It's actually a legal drama about a 19 year old lawyer who teams up with an older, has been lawyer to help people. Stars Don Johnson and Jay Baruchel. Airs Mondays at 9 p.m., EST

The press release for Related says this: “After the unprecedented success of Friends, we're thrilled to have Emmy Award-winning Marta Kauffman producing a one-hour family drama for us, based on the lives of four adult sisters. Related is an insightful, funny, touching drama full of complicated relationships and heartwarming family moments, with a great young cast to which our core female audience will instantly relate." Which tells you absolutely nothing about the show. Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

Twins is from the creators of Will and Grace and is about two sisters who look alike but have nothing in common. Stars Melanie Griffith and Sara Gilbert. Fridays at 8:30 p.m.

Pepper Dennis is about a TV reporter looking for love (in all the wrong places?). Stars Rebecca Romijn and Josh Hopkins. Starts in January.

The Bedford Diaries is from Homicide's Tom Fontana and centers on a sex class at a university (!) Stars Matthew Modine and Milo Ventimiglia. Starts in January.

Misconceptions has Jane Leeves as a mom who finds out that her son's sperm donor isn't the educated, classy man she thought he was. I hate when that happens. Starts in January.

Supernatural is about monsters lurking in small towns across America. Ooooooooo. Stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Tuesdays at 9 p.m.

Modern Men is about friends in their twenties who go to a life coach for help. Sounds whiny. But it's from producer Jerry Bruckheimer, so maybe they'll blow up or something! Starts in January.

Joan this is not WB so you might want to change your post to the third person.

I can't understand why you are quitting such a wonderful show as "Jack and Bobby". This will be the end of my watching your station. If this show was advertised, as many of your other ones are, it would have been a big big hit. I think it was the best thing on Tv in 10 years. I am so disappointed in the channel bigwigs.

I nearly cried (but held it back) when I heard about Jack and Bobby, which was honestly one of the most promising shows I watched this year. I fell in love with it after the first five minutes because Christine Lahti was so mesmerizing. That kind of drama blew Seventh Heaven out of the water, I tell you, and deals with much tougher material that actually makes sense. It was a drama that spoke to the 21st century America, and if it comes out on DVD, I'll buy it and never let it go.

Damn, I was still holding a glimer of hope that Jack and Bobby could survive, though admittingly the chances of that were extremely small, with only about two million viewers for the finale. Misconceptions should be worth watching, the pilot at least. Mind you this is coming from a fan of Frasier, so that opinion is a bit biased. L&O:TBJ was an example of someone making the transition to another show, and it's now such a damn pity it was canned. Prior to TBJ I never realised how great an actress (I'm still not doing the PC thing and calling her an actor) she is. Can't wait to watch Twins (rolleyes), the show fully composed of cast and crew that have jumped the shark.

The WB is actually under new management and is trying to evolve to include shows for a more mature audience. I think that Supernatural will defintely be one of the shows tailored for an older audience and all the information that I've seen about it has made me want to watch more and more. It looks like it'll be one of the best new fall shows out there.

Is it just me, or has The WB lost it by giving Charmed another season? What's more interesting is who they will find to replace Wendy Malick in Modern Men considering ABC picked up Jake in Progress for another season. At least they have until midseason to find another actress. I've heard that they might consider her former Just Shoot Me costar, Laura San Giacomo.

I totally agree Dave "Supernatural" belongs on sci-fi or some channel we would never have to watch

Vince, I think the Gilmore Girls is fairly popular among certain people (I tried to watch it once but the speed at which they speak made it impossible to understand-- not because they spoke too fast, but because I was wondering about it so much that I stopped paying attention). Is it snooty of me to say that Supernatural would sound interesting if it wasn't on the WB?
