Oh, I can't begin to describe the horrible endings I hope will befall this group of self-absorbed, genetically doomed folk. Probably only slightly worse than the fate that should befall people like me, who tune in anyway, and watch to see how much more unhappy and ridiculous the plot can possibly get each week. I'm thinking something with an explosion rocking the apartment complex and Heather Locklear...oh, wait...am I thinking of something else?

I'm having to brace myself to actually watch each new episode this season -- everybody has gotten their lives so screwed up that I'm almost beyond caring. At this point, I'd lean towards a really, really f'd up ending -- maybe one of the major characters finally snaps far enough to take a machine gun to the whole lot of the them. At least that'd eliminate any possibility of them doing a Sopranos-like "just one more season" thing. As far as who would do the machine gunning -- you could about draw straws the way things are now -- everybody is close enough to being that far gone. The smart money would be on Claire's boyfriend however... As we fade to white one final time, dear old dead dad would do a walk on and call them all a bunch of morons who had no appreciation of what life was worth...
