Did you know that TNT's The Closer is the highest rated scripted cable series of all time? Yeah, I didn't either. It's been so successful that the network has already renewed the show for a second season.

I like this show. I like how they show the pettyness and competetiveness of the detectives, something you don't ordinarially see in a cop show. Plus it's interesting to see the contrast beween the lead character's skill interrogating suspects and her struggles in some of the daily aspects of her life, like how she struggles to keep her weight down, or the episode where she keeps getting lost.
