Rhino wants your MST3K picks

by Adam Finley, posted Jul 10th 2005 3:06PM
I was never as obsessed with a show as much as Mystery Science Theater 3000. I began taping the show immediately after seeing my first episode, and by the time the series went off the air, I had over one hundred episodes on tape. Fortunately, Rhino has been releasing some of the episodes on DVD, which is the only thing that keeps me from becoming too depressed as my old VHS copies become more and more worn out. If you're a fan, you should follow the "Read" link below. It seems Rhino would like some feedback on which movies they should include on the next MST3K DVD collection. Remember, it's good to participate in the political process.

I think that you could release two episodes on one disc...just on one side. Get this, Green Mile was all on one DVD, 3 hours long, so why can't you alot 2 episodes per disc, and if it doesn't work as I thought, make it a dual side disc. As for episodes I'd like to see 'Jack Frost', 'The Final Sacrifice', & 'Puma Man'

Rhino wants to know which MST3K movies to include in the next DVD collection....uhmm, how ALL OF THEM, ah? I am one of those fans that, if given a choice of, for example, going to heaven OR spend the rest of eternity watching MST3K movies, I'll would choose the latter, or course! Roldan

I hope Rhino follows up and starts giving us decent extras on a consistant basis. I'd really like to see the rest of the cast involved beyond Mike and Kevin. Lets hear from Joel, Trace and Frank too.

The cost of the movie rights would be too much to release MST3K as full season DVD sets. That's how I've always understood it, anyway.
