Teens shun teen mags

Growing up, my sister always had teeny bopper magazines lying around the house. As vacuous as they appeared to anyone beyond their teen years, the mags sold in huge numbers and the pics therein adorned many a bedroom wall and school locker. However, it seems that times are changing. These days more and more kids are looking to more adult publications like Entertainment Weekly and US Weekly to get their celeb fascination fix. It seems kids these days want more than just "light" reading, they want to know more about the celebs they adore.
