I believe Nate was telling Brenda something was wrong with the baby because he wanted to prove Brenda wrong, he was angry and so afraid. song was Breathe me by Sia-for those of you who were curious.

maybe they should have ended it with Claire driving away-but than again, wouldn't we have been curious as to what happened to the characters. The song picked for Calire's departure was great! although the Counting crows 'color blind' would have done just as well. ;)

I think the ending was was great. it was sad, I like how they showed what the future held. Was Claire blind at the end? Does anyone know what song they played while Claire drove off? and by whom? mimi

I thought also, the baby was stillborn when the name willa popped up-not sure why they did that-I love this show-the dialogue is awesome, the actors are believable-I just watched season one for first time-it-s hot!!!

The final episode was amazing. Alan Ball couldn't have ended this awesome show any better. I was bawling through all 3 last episodes, they were quite heart wrenching. It was great to see all the characters finally bury the hatchet and be one big family. It just goes to show that with death, there is also life.

I am really sad about it ending...it was almost like the Fishers were family. I was watching the finale and before the last few minutes, i was thinking, they need to hurry up because a lot more needs to happen for the ending to be good..but then it hit. That finale was awesome, y'all. I cried like a baby. I watched it 5 or 6 times, and then I downloaded Breathe Me by Sia (the song playing as Claire is driving) and I can see the whole ending set to the music in my head now. lol I sure am going to miss my Sunday night guilty pleasure. I hope to see more of the actors from Six Feet Under, particularly David and Nate and Claire. Claire reminds me of my younger red-headed sister. :)

I just watched Six Feet Under for the second time. I wanted to make sure I did not miss anything. I assumed that Maggie was pregnant with Nate's baby- it makes sense because her first child died. It was freaky how Brenda died- she and her brother masturbating together. They had a dysfunctional relationship the whole time- so I guess that was the only way for her to go. I thought the show was very well done- but very sad!!

I've watched the closing sequence twice and would watch it again. It would make a great music video. I wonder if someone will put it out as a clip somewhere online. It's so bittersweet-- perfect combination of music, imagery, imagination. I've never seen anything like it. Perfect.

We've got a question here at my office. Why was Nate been telling Brenda something's wrong with the baby?

Awesome ending! I've seen the ending three times already and I get choked up every time. Keith and David's relationship turned out great. My only complaint is how old they made the characters look. These characters definately didn't age gracefully, maybe a little too much make up for those scenes, but other than that, this has been the best series of the year by far!
