Marathons and telethons: a quick Labor Day guide

by Bob Sassone, posted Sep 5th 2005 10:00AM
  • The Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon continues until 6:30pm tonight. Check local stations.
  • CSPAN2 has a marathon of Book TV.
  • ABC Family has a marathon of Wildfire.
  • A&E has episodes of 24 all day long
  • TNT has a marathon of Law and Order, while USA has Law and Order: SVU (of course, these stations run these shows all day long on most days anyway...).
  • FX has a Cops marathon.
  • For some reason, the Sci-Fi Channel has a marathon of Ripley's Believe It Or Not. Believe it or not.
  • Spike is showing CSI.
  • Court TV is showing - get ready - a marathon of Fastlane. Does this network buy everything even the slightest "legal" related?
  • Bravo has several episodes of Being Bobby Brown and Battle of the Network Reality Stars. Oh joy.
  • E! is showing mini marathons of The Girls Next Door and Taradise. Ugh.
  • And the US Open coverage is a marathon of sorts: CBS will have coverage all day long, while USA takes over at night.
