Making Springfield safe, one pink donut at a time

The September issue of Maxim declares Wiggum of The Simpsons as the "greatest TV cop of all time." Wiggum had stiff competition, beating out contenders such as Columbo, Roscoe P. Coltrane and McGruff the Crime Dog. I was secretly rooting for Johnny Depp's character, Tom Hanson, from 21 Jump Street because he's the only narc I've ever wanted to hump. But in the end, Wiggum narrowly beat out Miami Vice's Sonny Crocket for the win, because as Maxim puts it, "we don't trust pretty-boy cops with slim waistlines that don't absorb donut lard." I guess pretty boys in pink do finish last.
