Kitchen Confidential: Aftermath
Is it just or me does it seem to you that this show has the best cleavage on TV right now? I mean, take a look at scene about 6 minutes into the show, when the employees are all sitting around talking about tips. Each girl is...well, it's almost as if they hired some "Cleavage Consultant." I'll have to check the credits at the end.
Pretty good episode. It's a perfect companion to Arrested Development: both are half hour, one camera sitcoms with a quirky sense of humor, a well-oiled ensemble cast, and funny asides and flashbacks. And Bradley Cooper is the Jason Bateman character.
Tonight Mimi wants to pool the waiters' tips, while Steven is going back to his old ways of swapping stolen food for lobsters in the alley behind the restaurant. It's causing friction in the kitchen too, so Jack decides to put a leash on him, regardless of how long they've known each other.
But it all works out in the end. When a bunch of businessmen order thousands of dollars worth of food and drink and then run out the door ("chew and screw"), Steven's criminial/tough guy ways are put to good use. He punches one of the guys (after they dump on The Queen - he is English after all) and they get his credit card. Boss Pino wants to still fire him, but Jack convinces him to let him stay.
At the end, more cleavage for Jack when he gets home.
