Wink Martindale to get star on Walk of Fame

The world will become a better, happier place in June 2, 2006 when Wink Martindale gets his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I remember Wink as the host of Tic Tac Dough (I'm sorry, according to IMDb he hosted The NEW Tic Tac Dough). This was just one of fifteen game shows he hosted. On top of that, he's also a well-known radio personality. Wink comes from that era of game show hosts who always used those ultra-skinny microphones with the tiny superball-looking thing on top. Bob Barker seems to be the only one remaining who still uses one. His actual name, by the way, is Winston. Wink's, not Bob Barker's.
