Well, this was about as surprising as the Nick/Jessica split -- Fox is pulling the plug on any future seasons of The Simple Life. The reason? Those two crazy rich bitches (Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie) don't get along any more. Fox had picked up their contracts for another season, but the two refuse to work together. And that's a shame because the two of them fighting would have made a much better show than their dueling, "that's hot" over and over again. Paris tried to convince Fox to replace Richie with Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberly. But even Fox recognized that as a bad idea. For a comedy duo to work, you need a smart one and a dumb one. And Nicole was the "smart one." Kimberly? Um, not so much.
