Alexis Arquette is now living his life as a female, and A&E has been following his journey for over a year. Arquette's been taking hormones and undergoing therapy, all in preparation for his upcoming sex-change operation. A&E will continue to follow Arquette and compile the footage into a documentary which will include appearances by Arquette's family (including sister-in-law Courteney Cox) aaaand the surgery itself. The documentary is to air in early 2006.

I've had a bright, glittery spot in my heart for Arquette ever since I saw him croon Culture Club in The Wedding Singer, but I don't know if that's enough to make me watch the actual process of him turning into "her". Hell, I can't even watch people getting hit in the crotch on America's Funniest Home Videos without cringing more than necessary...
