Al Roker was down in Florida today doing a live segment for Today on hurricane Wilma's landfall, when he was knocked down by the wind. A Today crewmember was actually holding Roker's ankles too, trying to help stabilize him, but it was too much to bear, and the big teddy bear of a man was taken down. He was actually making a joke about having some of his old weight back when it happened. This has not been a good week for newscasters and weather. My favorite part of the video, when they leave the crewmember who was helping Roker out in the wind while hurrying him back inside. You can watch it here.
