With the recent Avian flu scare, West Nile, and epidemics in Africa, global health is becoming more and more of a concern. It's also the subject of a series on PBS titled RX for Survival: A Global Health Challenge, which will air as six one-hour episodes starting tonight. The series, narrated by Brad Pitt, will focus on milestones in the history of public health and the problems which still face us today. As with all of PBS' programming, the Web site offers plenty of information and resources, including a seven-minute preview of the first episode. Check here to see when the show airs in your area.
