I watch NCIS for the humor and the delightful Michael Weatherly, who's character rarely smiled on Dark Angel and is quite funny on NCIS.

I have an aunt that works for NCIS (in real life.) The show can get a bit Bellisario-crapped up...it has that air of unbelievability to it (although not to the extreme that JAG had,) sometimes the characters are a little over the top, sometimes the show will stray a bit (due to the characters being over the top) away from the story at hand and to some pointless exercise to 'expand' their characters. Ducky is the most believable character of the bunch, Abby is the coolest geek on TV, and Gibbs is the best hardass supervisor I've seen. The new Israeli chick seems more comic relief than anything, her constant fumbling of English idioms and American customs just there to distract from the dead bodies. She makes me miss Kate and DiNozzo's constant love-hate bickering.

I actually didn't watch it for the longest time because I didn't like the guy that was on Dark Angel... but I got over that. Now I've sort of gotten hooked to season 3. It's snappy, it's snarky, it's kinda interesting with the new cast editions and cases so it seems that I'm among those who've kind of gotten into the show where as before, not so much.
