Get ready for more prime-time Regis!  ABC announced that Kelly Ripa's morning partner that will be hosting a revival of the show This Is Your Life on ABC. Philbin will host the series of specials during 2006.

For those not familiar with the show, it usually focused on one guest, sometimes famous, sometimes not. Throughout the episode, periods of the person's life would be examined and surprise guests -- old teachers, former loves, long-lost relatives -- would be introduced, first as a backstage voice, then as a surprise walk-on. The look of shock on the subject's face as each came out to the stage was always priceless (What, you think Maury came up with this on his own?). One of the subjects who will be profiled during this revival is show creator and former host Ralph Edwards.
