Emma Watson isn't in love with Dan Radcliffe
Regis Philbin's best efforts not withstanding, actress Emma Watson (who portrays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, in case you've been asleep the past four years) was quite firm in her insistence she is not in love with costar Daniel Radcliffe. Regis kept needling her about it, but Watson, blushing and giggling like any teen girl in the same circumstances likely would, remained composed and told Regis and cohost Kelly Ripa that because she has worked so closely with Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley, almost every day for the past four years, they are much more like older brothers than anything else.
"But you know, he's a good looking guy, and sometimes after being around someone for a long time and growing up together, one day you wake up and realize there's something more there...." Regis said persuasively.
No, Watson replied more firmly. No, she really doesn't think of Dan that way at all. Really, Regis. Fortunately for Watson, Regis finally got off the "Emma loves Dan" track and moved on to Goblet of Fire movie clips and other such excitement. Watson is next to appear on The Early Show on CBS on Friday.
