Martha Stewart targets my generation

Look, Martha. I am not crafty. Glue and I do not get along. I don't want my living room to be 10 different shades of blue. But, now that you're launching a new magazine and planning housing communities, some of the people my age (30-somethings) are going to fall under your spell. I see what you're doing. By launching a new magazine, called Blueprint, you are aiming to help people my age decorate their first homes. Personally, I'd like fix-it help with my dishwasher and the downstairs toilet. But, decorating is big business. It's a profitable demographic: young couples without kids and two incomes (DINKS). It just seems like an awful lot of pastels. The magazine launches in May, and its name may change. Oh, and in case you didn't see this last month, Martha also partnered with KB homes to design entire communities. Did you ever see that episode of The X-Files when Mulder and Scully pretend to be married and move to a planned community where a monster kills people who break the rules? That's kind-of how I picture it.
