It's clear that Derek and Meredeth are bound to become another Ross and Rachel. They get together. They break up. They repeat. By series end, which would be when the residency is over, they've gotten together once and for all and a little baby will be written in, even if it never makes it on screen.

God I hope not. I mean, I would NOT like to see them back together. Let's MOVE ON, people! I like Meredith and I like McDreamy, I just don't like them together. And let's not "shipper" Meredith and George either. I'd hate this show to become like ER where everyone's been with everybody. Like they're going through these permutations of who can be with whom next. Stupid. Give me cooky medical cases, cooky dialogue and have them shipper guest stars but no more doctors sleeping with doctors please. I mean, come on we've got Alex/Izzie and Christine and Burke. Enough. Why does everyone need to be coupled. Also, this is why I actually liked the fact that McDreamy went back to his wife, Satan :D at least it was someone outside the main cast. Now if he could only try make it work and not just do it so that he can make himself feel better before signing those divorce papers. Stupid.Show.I hate that I love it so much.
