Veronica Mars alternate ending on AOL tonight

by Anna Johns, posted Nov 30th 2005 12:28PM
veronica marsUPN and AOL are trying a little media cross-over with tonight's episode of Veronica Mars. There will be an alternate ending available at AOL.com right after the show. UPN describes the alternate ending as... "shocking"! Tonight's episode, called My Mother, The Fiend, also hails the return of Alyson Hannigan as Trina Echolls. Trina comes back to direct a Neptune High school play. She immediately clashes with Logan's new love interest, Kendall Casablancas, played by former Buffy co-star Charisma Carpenter. The alternate ending, and the actual ending will both be available online for one week, where viewers can vote on which ending they liked best.

But, wait! There's more! Show creator Rob Thomas will take calls from fans in a live, internet talk show on UPN.com beginning at 3 p.m. (ET) Thursday, December 1. That's tomorrow, people.

Is it too late to view the alternate ending? I live in the US, but have not been able to bring it up. What is the direct URL please?

The alternate ending is a little too harsh. Kristen Bell's character has been blamed for a little too much lately

Too bad if your not in the US you can't view it. I don't care if we can vote by why can't we at least see it. Sucks.

The two endings are almost identical. I didn't have time to rewatch the original, but it seemed to be the same as what I watched on TV.
