What a terrific person the world had in Wendie! In the face of a terrible disease, she thought of the future, a cure and others. A wonderful actress and humanitarian we've lost on earth. God Bless her family and friends during this time. God needed another angel in Heaven. She was one of the chosen on November 29th. God Speed Wendie! With love and admiration, Janice

Wow... that was more of a punch to the gut than hearing about Pat Morita. Wendie was always cast as the "fat friend" in every sitcom she was in... until she dropped a ton of weight in the early nineties, when she was cast as Billy Bob Thornton's girlfriend in "Hearts Afire" (remember that show? John Ritter? Markie Post? Political jokes?). I always thought she was funny, no matter how bad the material was. A great comedic character actress. It's too bad she had to go so soon.
