Another Dick Wolf law drama

stephanie marchNBC loves Dick Wolf like CBS loves Jerry Bruckheimer. This time, Wolf is bringing back an old character from Law & Order: SVU. It's Stephanie March, AKA Alexandra Cabot, whose character was shot and spent the last two years in witness protection. March is reviving her character on yet another legal drama produced by Dick Wolf. The new program, called Conviction, is about a group of young assistant district attorneys in (where else?) New York. Unlike other Wolf dramas, this one will spend a lot of time focusing on the characters' personal lives as they try high-profile cases. The show also stars Jordan Bridges, who played an indie movie director named Oliver in Dawson's Creek and J. August Richards, who played Charles Gunn in Angel. Not sure when this is going to launch on NBC, but it could be next fall or as soon as this winter.

I loved J. August Richards in Angel and am glad he's getting work (like many other Buffy/Angel people this season) Also I can't wait to see how they explain Alex's return to New York.

I have been cursing Bobby Flay daily as his presence in Stephanie March's life that caused the terrible loss of Alexandra Cabot. Maybe now if Alex comes back, the healing can begin between me and Bobby.

how are they going to explain her coming out of witness protection? and did she ever adopt that little boy after the episode when she came back? It sounds like an excellent show though.
