ABC knows that crime pays

ABC has given the OK to a new drama pilot set around the events leading up to, during, and after a high-profile bank robbery. Based on the press release, it sounds like the show is going to have elements of both Prison Break and Lost. The show (Nine Lives), produced by some of the folks behind Without a Trace, will focus on nine characters who become close after the robbery. It will explore the events dealing with the robbery and those involved will be examined as well. So hopefully it will be this big, elaborate crime, with Lost-style flashbacks. Apparently, a larger conspiracy and mystery will also play a major role. No timetable for when we can it expect it though.
