In what I can only term as a shocking finale to the fourth season of
The Apprentice, Randall was hired by Donald Trump to oversee renovations at his Atlantic City casinos. That's not the shocking part, though. After Randall was hired, he went over and got hugs from the previously fired contestants, when all of a sudden Trump called him back to the board room table. Trump asked him if he thought Rebecca, the other finalist, should also be hired. Since Randall had always presented himself as a down-to-earth genuinely nice guy, I thought it was a slam-dunk for Rebecca that she would also be hired. Imagine my (and probably everyone else's) surprise then when he said absolutely not, that the show the was called, "
THE Apprentice and not "The Apprenti." Randall had a golden opportunity to really present himself as the same kind of guy he had throught the course of the season. Instead he chose selfishness and pettiness and I'm more than a little disappointed.
