Why is Barbara Walters on Inside The Actor's Studio?

Barbara WaltersOK, I think they were stretching it when they had Jay Leno. I thought they were really stretching it when they had Billy Joel on. But those of you who doubt that Bravo's Inside The Actor's Studio had jumped the shark will have to admit it after this weekend: Sunday night's guest is Barbara Walters.

First of all, I don't even think she's that much of a journalist anymore, but that's a whole different story. She's not an actor (or writer, director, or singer, as far as I know). I'm sure she knows some celebs or might even be related to one, but an hour interview at the Actor's Studio.

Barbara Walters. She should have won an Oscar for her performance in Terms of Endearment

They've run out of actors. Seriously. Who's left? DeNiro and Pacino are the only ones I can think of, and they've both been turning that dope down for 11 years. Also, I think the fact that the Actor's Studio has separated from The New School didn't help, either. Universities always seem to get good speakers, maybe because they can donate more money to the celeb's favorite charity or something.
