What can I say, other than it took way too long for this to be released. It was nice that it came out around the same time that
new episodes started to air since we only got three new ones. The
DVD certainly makes up for that loss because it has some of the best episodes
ATHF has to offer. It contains all 13 season three episodes (season 2 was huge and got split into volumes two and three) including "Moon-master," "Robositter," and quite possibly the funniest episode yet, "Dusty Gonzagas." What's made past
ATHF DVD sets so great, though, are the ridiculous extras and Easter Eggs they bury in them. This one doesn't skimp either. Without giving them away, there's plenty more clips of nonsense similar to the past stuff like Vegetable Man and Puppets go Bowling. Another nice edition is all the mini-episodes of "Spacecataz" combined into their complete story. It's actually a lot better watching it uninterrupted. Nine episodes have commentary which is always great. I can remember the first time I flipped on commentary for an episode in volume one and the commentary had nothing to do with the episode - they were just playing some weird acoustic song and yelling... again, expect more like this. It goes without saying that fans need to buy this, but if you're an
Aqua Teen virgin, starting out with volume one is probably a better idea.
