Lots of DVD goodies coming in 2006

Kate & AllieEvery year around this time, tvshowsondvd.com lists the shows that are going to come out on DVD during the year, or at least the ones that are planned to come out. The list this year is the most impressive yet, with several series that I know many people have been waiting for, including:

  • The Wild, Wild West
  • Wings
  • Kate and Allie
  • Star Trek: The Animated Series
  • Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea
  • Tomorrow (with Tom Snyder)
  • The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
  • The Flash
  • Hawaii Five-0

Holy cow! Animaniacs AND The Real Ghostbusters! The only things still missing for me are Duckman and the later seasons of Larry Sanders.

Can anyone tell me why The Six Million Dollar Man or The Bionic Woman are not yet out on DVD? Those shows defined their era like few others, and references or homages to the shows crop up on TV and movies all thew time. Where's their love?
