The Project Runway socialite

by Annie Wu, posted Jan 3rd 2006 6:21PM
It's been two weeks without Project Runway and it already feels like a little part of me has died. Pathetic? Quite possibly. Obsessed? Definitely. To keep me occupied, I've been surfing around and looking up all things Project Runway, including Santino's MySpace and the sneaky news that Kevin Johnn was the one that drew the moustache on Wendy Pepper's photograph in Season One (not really sure if that's true or not, but I feel like there's a sense of closure in my life... again, I'm obsessed).

I also came across a spoiler for this week's show. Fashion Week Daily has got the scoop on the identity of the mystery socialite they have to make an outfit for. I can't say I'm really surprised by the choice... Read on if you want to find out (or you can just tune in on Wednesday like everyone else)...

It's Nicky Hilton!

I considered Paris when I saw the preview two weeks ago, but decided that Paris would never go on a show like Runway. Nicky doesn't come as much of a surprise for me, though. I'm especially curious to see what science-y Diana is going to make for her... I can't imagine any of the Hiltons wearing something well-calculated.

A few comments on this week's Project Runway with Nicky Hilton:

1. I think Nicky is MUCH better looking than Paris!
2. She is an idiot for choosing Sandino's design! She just played into his whole attitude thing and ended up picking his gawd aweful dress over Nick's because of it. Hopefully her line of clothing is better than her fashion sense!

It has definitely been a looong 2 weeks without Runway. I know I am slowly becoming obsessed myself. I figured it was Nicky cause it kinda looked like her but I will w ait to see if it really is.
