Hidden clue to Lost's timeline? -- UPDATE

It turns out the date on the x-ray MRI in Jack's flashback was just an oversight by the production folks on Lost. A fan site caught the date during last week's show and we all wondered if it was a hint about when Lost happens, or just a mistake. Turns out it was just a mistake. Javier Grillo-Marxuach, writer and supervising producer for Lost, confirms the glitch over at The Fuselage. No fun!

just heard your show for this week's Lost Episode! Anyway, I think you guys mentioned something about Claire and Locke possibly getting together and what if they had kids....

I can't imagine how cool a TV show, movie or book would be if they were as clever and devious as people on the Internets want them to be. If every piece of information was meticulously crafted and integrated for the clue finders to comb over and bring to light.
