Veronica Mars new tonight, but not for Boston

veronica marsI've had a love-hate relationship with Wednesday night television. I love that there are two great shows to watch, Lost and Veronica Mars, though I hate that they both air at 9PM. I actually had to give up reviewing Lost for TV Squad because of my love for Veronica Mars. So, when I saw that VM was set to air a new episode tonight, I was thrilled . . . until I looked at my TiVo and saw that it wasn't set to record. Why? Because our local UPN station, UPN38, has decided that the Boston College at North Carolina game is better TV. Hey, I'm not dissing college hoops, but what's with not being able to see the new episode until Saturday night?!

Well, on the bright side, I get to watch Lost at its scheduled time again. One of the other TV Squadsters will be reviewing VM for you tonight, one who's able to catch it on time.

Can someone please e-mail me at masonsmith2005@yahoo.com and let me know if Boston's UPN plans on airing the episode titled "Donut Run" that was missed because of a college basketball game. Does anyone know if Boston's UPN plans on doing the same in the future. I just don't want anymore suprises. Thank-You for your help. VM is the type of show where if you miss an episode, come the following week you become lost with plots and details missed from not

We don't actually have a UPN affiliate in our area, so I have to search for it every week. Right now it only airs Wednesday's at midnight. It's hard to keep track of, but it does solve the conflict with Lost.

In Birmingham (Alabama, where I live) it is being preempted for FLORIDA at SOUTH CAROLINA. Why rabid Alabama and Auburn fans care about Florida, I don't know, even if Florida's a top-5 team. VM won't be shown until next Tuesday night! I'm kind-of welcoming this UPN-WB merger now...maybe that means we'll be free of stupid preemptions like this, and the old UPN or WB station (whichever goes dark) can feel free to show basketball teams all day long.
