Alias cast news galore

by Bob Sassone, posted Jan 27th 2006 3:03PM

Ron RifkinSo we know that Alias is coming to an end this season (new episodes come back in March). And word comes that Amy Acker, who we last saw with a giant needle sticking out of her chest thanks to Sydney, will be a series regular for the rest of the season.

In other news, Ron Rifkin has a new job: he's staying with ABC in the pilot Brothers and Sisters, a drama about a family. Rifkin will play the uncle of the title characters.

This comes on the heels of other Alias news, that Bradley Cooper (Will) will be coming back to Alias for the 100th episode, and that Nadia will finally be coming out of her coma, and she won't be too happy with daddy Sloane.

I have been to so MANY sites with die-hard ALIAS fans. It is difficult to understand with the huge fan base, that we as a group, could not make a difference with ABC. Many of us participated in the letters and emails to ABC and did we even get an acknowledgement? Like, "ABC wishes to thank the 999,998 fans whom we received letters from regarding the ALIAS cancelation..." I wish another network would pick up ALIAS and all of us loyal fans could be happy once again. Anyone out there in network world listening or care??????

I am so addicted to Alias!!! I hate that this is the final season. I actually caught up with watching the past series through Netflix and now I'm up to par with this season. I absolutely love Victor Garber's character. I wish they would do some kind of spin off with the characters that want to stay.

I so love this show. I'm disappointed to hear that this will be it's final series.

I'm waiting to catch up on season 5 on a friend's DVR, so I have a love-hate relationship with front-page spoilers. Though, I must say, I care a lot less about knowing what's going to happen now that it's coming to an end, and really just am hoping for happy endings. (As happy as things get in Spy World.)
