Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the TV show

doug limanI mentioned back in August that Doug Liman had inked a deal with NBC. It now looks like his first show for the network will be a TV version of his remake of Mr. and Mrs. Smith starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (without the two mega stars, natch). I'm actually quite pleased to hear this, as I've developed a severe allergic reaction to original ideas. NBC has not picked the show up officially, though Liman claims the network probably will. I guess I'll take his word for it.

Does anybody know who sang the theme song from the show Mr & Mrs Smith with Maria Bello and Scott Bakula? I've been looking for it for ages, but I just can't find the right version of it. :(

Actually, I think "Heist," starting on NBC (in March?) will be his first show for NBC.

Yes Evadne, it did. It was short lived on CBS. They ended up cancelling it and never airing the remaining episodes, which annoyed me at the time. Later, I managed to get a copy of them from a guy in Sweden, where they did air. I really liked that show a lot, but it seems most of the country preferred Walker, Texas Ranger and Nash Bridges. Go figure.
