Are you a pop culture trivia nut?

Finally, all those years of seeing Star Wars 75 times and memorizing the Gilligan's Island theme song are going to pay off.

VH-1 is having a World Series Of Pop Culture, where you battle it out with other trivia buffs for a chance to win $100,000. Alas, we here at TV Squad can't enter, but maybe some of you readers can enter and report back to us? Here's the online application. Auditions will be held in March and April, in New York, L.A., Chicago, Dallas, and Atlanta.

If they'll be showing this on VH1, I'll TiVo it. I may be a Pop Culture black hole, but I'd choke on TV. So I'll just watch it.

I applied today after seeing this story at TV Squad. I was just contacted by phone & email 10 minutes ago for the April 1/2 NYC auditions. If someone reminds me, I'll post news of how it went afterwards.

HUGE thanks to TV Squad for alerting me to this!! I doubt I would've heard about it otherwise.

I just got called back by the casting company and was sent the applicaiton. I'll post how it goes when the April auditions happen for NYC.
