It
seems like we've been hearing about Pepper Dennis for a really, really
long time. Now, it finally has an air date of Tuesday, April 4 at 9 pm on WB. The show has been getting a ton of buzz
because of its star-studded cast, headlined by Rebecca Romijn and supported by Josh Hopkins and Brooke Burns. Romijn
has the title role of Pepper Dennis, an ambitious television reporter who tries to balance her professional life with
her quest for the right man.Matthew Modine is making his debut on WB on March 22nd in The Bedford Diaries, a drama about a professor who teaches the sex and human condition seminar at New York University. The producer of Bedford has reportedly been having a hell of a time fighting the censors over the frank talk about sex on the show. The writers are having to come up with euphamisms for words like "masturbate", which the censors absolutely won't allow. That has to screw with the basic idea of the show, eh? It's supposed to be set in a classroom where discussions about sex are open and even technical.
Along with the new programs, come some schedule changes on WB. Everwood returns on Monday, March 20 with a two-hour premiere. And once Beauty and the Geek ends, Supernatural will be moving into its 9 o'clock slot on March 12, which puts it right after Smallville.
