Monk goes away for awhile

MonkDon't worry, they're not cancelling Monk. Remember, we've got at least one more season after this one. However, you won't be seeing any new episodes until early March, thanks to the Winter Olympics. So instead of watching an obsessive compulsive genius solve crimes you can watch fun sporting events like full contact figure skating, three-legged downhill skiing, polar bear mocking, and whatever the hell else they do during the Winter Olympics. If you are jonesing for a Monk fix, USA's site for the show has some webisodes and character blogs. Yeah, I know, it's not much, but you have to take what you can get sometimes.

God damn Olympics. Not only are we losing Monk for a few weeks, but also Scrubs. Dammit. I HATE SPORTS! Can't these bozo's just isolate ALL sports to separate parts of the channel selection and leave the networks to cater to all the people who DON'T want to watch skiing and long jumps and skating.. wait.. I dunno. Whatever they do at these stupid things. I don't give a damn. All I know is that I won't see all my favorite shows for almost a month.

Yeah, I'd say I'm pretty TO'd.

Actually, there are 2 more seasons after this one. This is still the 4th season. At the end of last Friday's episode they even made a reference to it. Monk was put on retainer by the police department for 2 years and guaranteed 16 murders (episodes) per year.
