Bill Nye the Science Guy gets married

bill nye marriageAt 50 years old, Bill Nye the Science Guy has tied the knot. That's right, ladies. The last great bachelor is now taken (or, is that George Clooney?).

Nye married Blair Tindall, author of Mozart in the Jungle and a former concert oboist, on Friday.. Cellist Yo Yo Ma, accompanied by MIT Media Lab Professor Michael Hawley on the piano, performed the wedding march.

Oh no!! I've missed my chance to be Mrs. Nye! Seriously, I had a crush on him when I first caught "Bill Nye the Science Guy" years ago on TV, and even thought of sending him fan mail (I'm in my mid-30s, btw). I had just assumed he was already married...and that he was younger! Congrats to him and Blair.
