Lost: Lindeloff puts Ana Lucia rumors to rest

michelle rodriguez lindeloffLost producers are denying rumors in US Weekly that Michelle Rodriguez, who plays the unlikable Ana Lucia on Lost, is being booted off the show for her bad behavior. Michelle's poor decisions about drinking and driving made headlines several times during the fall, but Lost producers say that's no reason to vote the girl off the island.

Co-creator Damon Lindeloff told TV Guide Online's Ask Ausiello, "Not a word of it is true. Lost's story is the star, and no actor would ever be killed off for any reason other than supporting the story."

Hmmm. Damon may be speaking a little too early on that one. Rodriguez goes to trial in March on her latest drunk driving charge, where she could be sent to California for violating probation related to drunk driving charges there. I think that'd bring a quick end to Ana Lucia.

For me is not such important if Michelle Rodriguez goes to have a drink with her friends or not. The important thing is Ana Lucia's character and I think her's is the most interesting one. Why she was in Australia?
In Europe if you drive drunk you get a traffic line and the police respects your anonymity. I disagree with make this kind of photos public. It's just unnecessary morbid curiosity.

even though anna lucia is a bitch they should not be kicked of the show. some one should tell her that Kate is a convict and tell her about the other cop on the plain to make it a bit more interesting

i love lost it is the greatest tv show there is i think

Is it the shirt that makes Michelle Rodriguez look like a drunk Princess Leia in that photo?

Hahaha, yes, of course! Politics play NO role in behind the scenes dealings and production. How silly were we to think this.

Do they think people are so nieve?

Yup some poor decisions, but I would like to see her get her life in order. Pride in her work could become a stabilizing feature for her. I wish her all the best in getting on with her recovery.
