American Idol twins all sexed up

How can anyone in their right mind say that American Idol is a FAMILY show?!?! I have never and will never let my son and daughter see this poor excuse for quality programming. It's the same as every other reality program, where you're being sold. "Buy this half talented half witted person's cd/book/clothing/furniture!" Take your pick. Why would I want my children to aspire to this??
Yes, my son, sell your soul to these people, so that you too may be told you are the worst at something. I'd rather my son actually work for what he wants and is good at, than have him rely strictly on the whim of a tv show's producers, or the ignorance of the American public.
As for the Maxim ad, who cares, if you don't like it don't watch/read it. Both of those women are adults, and can choose to do whatever they want within the bounds of the law. And actually the photos are more tasteful than they could potentially be, at least its not them spread eagle. And why are these two chicks such a big deal? What about shows like Sex In The City, that promote promiscuity to a much wider audience than Maxim does. Or Teletubbies, or Sponge Bob Square Pants, that both promote homosexuality? Why not rant about that instead? Those are genuinely 'family programming'.

I think it is a bunch of bull that she was cut. She can sing and she is cute. All of you that wanted her off was just jealous of her! My husband liked her so what do you think yours was going to go thruogh the tv for her or are you just that insecure? I also have kids 2 of them boys and those pictures are nothing i guess you have a problem with what GOD gave you as well!

People should really read before they write stuff about these girls...They did this photoshoot 2 years before thehy were on american idol..they got hired...it's a job...they are models..k...don't judge them because they are posing sexy...singing wise it think she can do it..i see her more of an rocker chick..she has that storng husky voice...but yeah..the judges picked rebbeca because they saw something in her besides her look..they saw potential she just picked a bad song for her voice...i'm preety sure she'll make it big..good luck rebecca

Seeing the photo shoot of Rebecca and her sister if being all knowing to the judges and producers should have not allowed her to be in the top 12. The picture in Maxim does not portray the "American Idol" ideal.

I don't get this comment.She did not pose nude for penthouse or playboy! The pictures had nothing to do with the show,and people would not have even known about them if such a big deal was not made of it. They are beautiful girls and all I hear is a bunch of crying from jelous people. Like I said B4 if you don't like it put your finger on the button and turn the chanel!!

sounds like many of you are in denial....looks are far more important that voice talent to make it in this business....most all the top stars are attractive or hot...Joss Stone, Shakira, Shania, Mariah, Britney, Xtina, Gwen Stefani, Hilary Duff, Faith, Lindsay,Beyonce,etc...even Kelley Clarkson is attractive "post" makeover.....the top selling pop star of the last decade was Britney Spears, and she can barely carry a tune (or not) without studio help...if you have the right look, they can make your voice sound good in the studio....that's the reality....don't you just know there are lots of heavy and/or unattractive girls out there with great voices...who will get no further than the church choir..

Rebecca is a beautiful girl, no doubt and could pursue a career in modeling no problem. Being a singer myself, as far as vocals, she is only an average singer. Possibly with the right trainer, she could improve. It would depend on what her heart really wants out of life.
