It won't debut until November, but the new cartoon from Andre 3000 (or Andre Benjamin, if you prefer) sounds like it's going to be pretty cool. Benjamin, half of the band Outkast, says the new Cartoon Network series will be a sort of combination of Peanuts and Fat Albert. The show, Class of 3000, will center on a group of misfits who attend a music school. The character of Little D is based on Benjamin as a youngster. Benjamin says the children will represent several different races, and that the soundtrack will be decidedly more rockin' than typical Saturday morning fare. Keep an eye out for it, though I'm sure it'll be mentioned here again before it debuts.
