Do you vote?

I didn't become aware of AI in season one until the last few weeks, and I voted for Kelly a few times. In season 2, I voted for Clay throught the entire season. I lost faith while voting in the finale, when I got thru only 3 times in 3 hours... we actually had a pool at work, and out of 6 voters for Clay, we only managed to cast 15 votes in 3 hours. My sister never got thru, even summoning an operator, who could not get thru, and could not understand what the problem was.

I have watched each season, and thought that season 3 was such a set up for Fantasia that I became even more disillusioned. I voted just a couple of times last year, and so far this year have not bothered. I'm not sure, based on last week's show that the votes even count,...I believe that putting 2 of the three in the bottom three was bogus, to try to drum up some drama, and more votes so they can brag how many voters there are next week. -- Then again, I believe they did the same thing in season 2 when they put Ruben in the bottom 3... It was just for show, and to get more voters for Ruben.

So no, I am no longer a faithful voter!

Didn't know what American Idol was the first season. Then I accidently caught Clay half way through Season 2 and did vote for him. Then I saw Clay in concert and NO ONE will ever compare to him in concert...WOW !!!!!!
I still watch Idol but see no need to vote since I'll never find anyone better that Clay.

VOTED FOR CLAY ONLY. HE IS THE BEST.

Only caught the final episode of Season 1 with Kelly. I watched Season 2 and loved Clay Aiken. I voted for him a little during the season but couldn't get any votes in during the finale. I still watch Idol but haven't liked anyone enough to really care if they won so I don't vote.. Clay was the only one I cared about winning.

I never watched season one of AI. The first time I ever watched AI was on the wildcard night during season 2, when Clay Aiken sang 'Don't Let The Sun Go Down On me.' Before he was even finished singing, he stole my heart and I have NO intention on ever getting it back! I voted like a wild woman every single week and on the night of the finale, I was only able to get 3 votes in...the line for Clay were continuously busy. I was heart broken that Clay lost and quite surprised by it too. That doesn't matter to me now though, because Clay has proven himself to be the winner!! He is amazing!! Each year since, I have not voted because I think the show is rigged.:( Season 3 was horrible. Season 4 I liked Bo Bice. This season I like Mandisa and Taylor Hicks. I choose not to vote, because I don't think it really matters in the end. Simon always predetermines the winner and that person always wins...I smell a fish somewhere? Regardless...NO ONE I've seen since season 2 comes close to wowing me like Clay Aiken! Clay is MAD talented, charming, caring, witty, intellegent, giving, fun, and absolutely THE BEST IN CONCERT! Clay defintiely has the "it" factor that Simon is always talking about and I know that because I've seen Clay in concert numerous times and I've followed his career from day one! He is amazing!! "Idol found...game over!" No, I won't ever vote again!!

I watched Season l and I voted for Kelly Clarkson. In Season 2 I was completely blown away by Clay Aiken. Tried to vote for him..but couldn't get through. Haven't watched since.

I just saw the end of season one, and did not vote.

In season 2, I thought Kimberley Locke, Clay Aiken were the real singers, and was totally blown away with Clay's charm and "Grease" performance so I voted like crazy. Bought all Clay's CDs and Kimberley's 1st CD.
Season 3 - I voted for Jennifer Hudson and then Fantasia. Bought Fantasia's first CD, but not the second.
Season 4 - lost interest - nobody motivated me to pick up the phone and I haven't purchased any CDs.
Season 5 - I only watch. Nobody has motivated me to pick up a phone and spend a minute voting. I would however like to see how far Mandisa goes and Paris go. But not enough to want to vote. I am still waiting for someone who can move me the way Clay Aiken does.

My prediction: Just because it will make for great television - it will come down to a final between Mandisa and Chris Daughtry, and Chris will win.

I only vote when it's someone I think is unique and special ... so consequently I only voted consistantly for Clay Aiken. He has a special depth and quality to his voice. I did also cast a few votes for Jennifer Hudson as I liked the depth of her voice and thought she had the most potential, given the chance. Afraid, you can count me in as among the many who do not trust the voting system. It would be better if you were only allowed to vote 1-3 times, rather than unlimited.

I started watching AI halfway through Season 1. While I did not vote I was happy that Kelly won. Season Two, yes I voted my fingers off for Clay. Very strange that on the last night, I could not get any votes through for him at all even though I tried for three hours straight.

I have watched Season three and four. Nope, didn't vote. No one inspired me to pick up the phone. This season I am watching and my favorite is Lisa but I haven't voted yet.

Clay Aiken is my favorite male singer and male entertainer. Clay Aiken is the greatest and the best male musical artist ever!!! Clay Aiken Rules!!!
