The thing that makes the old time dirty players different is that their drugs and alcohol might have made them worse players. The cheaters, sure they're pricks. As for bonds, I can't blame him for being a jerk, after all the racist hateful mail he gets who could blame him. I may have been projecting ... Giants fans are getting tired of being vilified for the crime of rooting for our best player. On the other hand, when you spew such hatred towards Bonds, who you claim is a jerk with no regard for fans, and then suggest that only his family and people from San Francisco want to see him succeed ... well, yes, I take that to mean you think we are masochistic idiots.

I can tolerate jerks and crybabys, but cheaters, I can't stand. But Bonds will get into the hall of fame on the strength of steroid inflated stats, but Pete Rose has to watch on TV, for gambling. Doesn't seem fair, does it?
