Sesame Street passes on Russell Crowe

He may be really famous and the father of a young son, but apparently Russell Crowe is not child-friendly. The producers of Sesame Street have decided not to add Crowe to their long list of celebrity guests. He has a well-documented history of angry outbursts, including a recent incident with a hotel telephone, and of public drunkenness, which doesn't fly with Sesame Street. One producer said he's not a great role model for kids, "although I am sure our writers could come up with a nice piece about dealing with emotions."

They have a point. That Elmo could totally throw him into a fit.
