Patricia Heaton may get her own talk show

Ok,give her a chance and don't be so judgemental.
The View is a talk show and Patricia has the talent to fill the spot. We all have our opinions on different subjects.Meridith is moving on someone has to fill her shoes,lets face it would you rather have Rosanne ?

You folks are insane. Patricia Heaton rocks. She's funny and smokin'. Definitely ranks high on my OBG (Oldie But Goodie) list.

I dont know if it was totally Heatons fault that she nailed the character, but as much as I loved, supported, and evangelized EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND during its network run, I cannot watch it all now largely due to Debras character. I found her so annoying, condescending and unfunny. The irony was, of course, that she was supposed to be the straight character on the show. Compare that with Carrie from KING OF QUEENS, another character who can be annoying and unfunny, yet I like her, and maybe it is because Doug is allowed, unlike Raymond, to put her in her place as much as she does to Doug.

And those Albertsons/ACME/Jewel ads ANNOYING AS HELL

I couldn't agree with you more. She was HORRIBLE on that show. Unfortunately, I now equate her with being horrible in everything. I couldn't believe she won Emmys for that show.

I HATED her character on ELR.

She is the WORST TV wife EVAR!

Now we can hear her talk more about the liberal conspiracy to keep her and Drew Carey out of work.

And of course, here in the midwest, it's her Jewel commercials...endlessly. I, for one, don't want to hear her views on political issues. Isn't that what Elizabeth from 'The View' is for?

I wonder if this will be a chatty gabfest or a show that also includes important issues. If the latter is the case, and considering some of Heatons political views, that might be interesting to watch. Depending, of course, on who is with her on the couch.

And here on the east coast we have to suffer though her ACME commercials.
