question mark; lost; american idol; decisionsI know a lot of you have been disappointed by Lost this season, but they've been hyping tonight's episode up to hopefully quell a lot of your concerns. It looks like we're going to get action and answeres out the wazoo. What's the wazoo you say? Well, I'm not sure, but come join me tonight, right back here to this very post at 8pm EST and that's when I'll unveil the super secret location for the chat room and we can discuss it together. Will Sayid, Charlie and Ana Lucia find some answers about Henry Gale, or perhaps find an ambush? Is Locke going to get locked in with Henry in the hatch? What's with all the drama? See you tonight!

UPDATE:
Come one, come all; here is the secret location for our Lost Chat! See you inside.

Disclaimer: All or parts of the discussion in this chatroom may be posted in a later column on this site. How to join the room:
For Trillian users: Simply click on the link, and as long as Trillian is set as your default instant messenging program it will open within Trillian.

For Gaim users: Go to the 'Buddies' menu, then select "Join a Chat". Use your AIM account, then enter the room name TVSquadLostChat17 and use Exchange 4. That should do it!

THANK you Tim... I completely agree, I think people really just don't remember the pacing of the first season and look back fondly like "yeah, it was all kick-ass." As a matter of fact, I'd be willing to wager that there's actually quite a bit MORE going on this season.

Disappointed? Hells no! We're just starting to get into the good stuff on the island. I mean, if you think about it, we really didn't go anywhere in the first season. Whereas this season, it seems like we've really uncovered a ton of mythology.

I'm actually *extremely* excited about the whole web thing they're doing over the summer. What would be awesome if it was a whole ARG that was pretty big in scope. Something on the level of the ilovebees.com thing with Halo 2. I mean ilovebees was pretty big because Halo's a pretty big game, but Lost is friggin' huge, so that would be a MASSIVE deal if they did it. Man, I hope they do...

I really think the reason Lost has been a bit of a disappointment this year is because of all the breaks and reruns that have accentuated the slow pace it sometimes has. They really need to adapt the 24 type schedule, a half season with no interruptions so if there is a slower episode you get the next one right away and don't dwell on it. This is the main reason I'm into 24 a lot more than lost this year, well that and the fact that Jack Bauer would have already have a tropical resort built on the island and the others would be working there.
