They got me for a second too. I think the bloops evoke a Pavlovian response from me to do something with the Tivo. I even turned them off awhile ago!

They timed it nicely, so that it was up long enough for me to fall for it, but not so long that I started actually hitting buttons once I got my hands on the remote.

Yea, it got me though too. I was at a friends house who has TiVo and I really have no idea what I'm doing when I'm away from my normal cable-branded dvr.
