TV Squad Lost Podcast: Dave

by Ryan j Budke, posted Apr 6th 2006 10:26PM
Lost PodcastAfter a short sabbatical, C.K. and I return for our commentary on last night's episode of Lost:: Dave. Queue up the podcast alongside the show that you've recorded or downloaded, and listen along as C.K. Sample III and I comment on all that is going on on the island. C.K. was playing with his fresh install of Windows XP on his Mac Mini, so there were a couple of technical difficulties, so please bear with us.

You'll find the podcast enclosed in the feed of this post, you can subscribe via our podcast feed (link), and here's a direct link (here) to the 20MB file running exactly 46 minutes. You can also subscribe to our podcast via the iTunes Music Store (link).

Please let us know what you think in the comments.

Measure... I don't have any words for myself, talk about egg on my face. I still don't think that theory stands for crap, but you're right, we did report it. Of course we also reported on a commercial where someone confuses curdled milk with cottage cheese...

I was so surprised I couldn't finish listening to the podcast. The guys talking completely dismissed a connection between connect 4, the numbers, and the big dipper.

I first learned this theory ON YOUR OWN SITE here: http://www.tvsquad.com/2005/10/21/is-losts-mystery-all-in-the-stars/

What do you have to say for yourselves?

Hey, time off for a new format? Was that all in my mind? A construct of my imaginary friend? :D

I started to listen to this episode because I was curious as to what the new format was going to be. But unless I missed it this is the same format as before. Are there still plans for a change that are being hammered out?

Either way, I kept listening because the two of you did a good job with the commentary. My only complaint being the disjointed nature brought on by the commercial breaks where things just stop mid-sentence.

I'm not a fan of the skip ahead a year idea myself. It seems that there are plenty of stories to tell in the here and now, if they would just loosen the reigns and let them be told.

A little relevant (maybe) tidbit about Jorge playing harry Knowles: he has dropped out in favor of Kevin Smith citing some unspecified conflicts with Lost. since filming on the show has wrapped up, one might guess that Jorge is on the crash diet which would make him look less like the portly Knowles. That might lend some strength to the rumor Lost will move ahead a year. Moving ahead will also help explain Walt's growth spurt should he return next season, too.

One uestion--in the preview for next week, is that jack caught in the net? I think so.
